Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls, also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that roars), is one of the world's most spectacular and well-known natural wonders. Located on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, these impressive falls are formed by the Zambezi River, which flows over a basalt cliff overlooking a gorge over 100 metres deep.

Victoria Falls is considered the largest waterfall in the world in terms of combined width and height, reaching a width of 1.7 km and a height of 108 metres. The falls are also surrounded by lush vegetation and are home to a variety of wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, rhino and hippos.

You can experience the Victoria Falls through hiking tours, cruises on the Zambezi River or helicopter flights for a breathtaking view of the falls. In addition, there are thrilling activities such as white water rafting and bungee jumping from a 111 metre high suspension bridge over the gorge.
